There is no such thing as "Fight Club"Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave

Currently Listening
United We Stand
By Hillsong United
see related
I've been listening to these tracks for the past month or so on and off ... finally some new FAST praise songs to do.  I only wish the electric and bass guitar didn't have such complex rifts (well at least for our praise team) so that we could pull dem off betta.

For all da Immanuel'ers, we're gunna be singin lots of da fast songs so if ya wanna get a preview of da songs you can buy da tracks off of itunes or wuteva.

2. The Time Has Come
3. Take It All
4. From God Above
5. From The Inside Out - slow
8. None But Jesus - slow
12. Kingdom Come
(would think about doing Revolution but seems to Man centered)

So during the next coming Sundays if you don't wanna be lost during praise, and laugh cuz you know how it's supposed to sound and how retarded we make da song sound, then I encourage you to listen ahead.

Da whole album definitely worth da buy.

After this past weekend at the Memorial Day family retreat was overall a good time to get to know some members of the adult and young adult KM as well as the younger guys in youth group.  Afterwards,  we went to go watch ...

X-men 3: The Last Stand

I would have to consider it the best movie I've seen all year.  Why you ask?  It's probably cuz I grew up with those comic books, watching the t.v. show, and played make-believe x-men with my friends.  We used to run around pretending we had all of their powers and fighting  make-believe foes such as the sentinels and other villians.  The video games such as the old-school arcade and genesis version probably inspired our imaginations as well.

This movie was the actualization and realization of my dreams as a child come true.  10 years prior to the 1st movie coming out, we had already guessed who would be cast to fill those roles if Marvel did decide to make a movie and ironically, Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) was the only one to make cut into the actual movie.

Neway, something about having extraordinary powers is juss too cool.  The variety of powers and how they fight each other is juss too sweet.  Whoever edited the movie kept every minute exciting.  I laughed ... I cried, ..... I cheered and I boo'ed.  The plot was plausible and interesting where the polarities of power were so extreme it helped balance good vs evil.  Sure it lacked a little character development with so many new mutants, but it's hard to fit all of that action and plot while still trying to resolve the many unanswered questions of the existing characters.  There will hopefully many more X-men movies and I hope there will be at least 2 more trilogies (yes there are that many stories revolving around X-men)

(exerpt)
The remaining Morrlocks, if Callisto survived that is, find and capture Warren Worthington III (Angel) crucfy him like the comic book (actually the Mauraders), and Psylocke (who the Dark Phoenix sends to Astral plain too) rescues him, and in turn each other. Flightless, Apocalpyse enters and makes him a business offer. becoming Archangel, "the Angel of Death" and one of the Four horsemen. (Plague, Famine, and War).

Side story: They retrieve Charles Xavier from the astral plane and the comatose person and place his essence in a clone of himself which he created years before. Which is able to walk, but the pain of his memories of walking and the pain it caused him, will make him subconsciously think he's a parapelegic, and need his wheelchair.

Side story: Storm will realize that Calisto survived and hunt her down, change her hair to the mohawk and lead the Murlocks for a while after beating the stuffing out of Calisto.

Side story: Peter (Collosus) will go back to Russia to learn that his baby sister Magik is the Demon princess. And his older borther Mikail survived the rocket crash. Plus you could add Kitty here, since she is Collossus's true love.

I see lots of these posts about people going to missions and asking the general public or virtual friends if they would like a support letter sent to them, to send a message, email, or eprops back ... and I wonder if it works, only one way to find out ... 1st hand  =).

So this summer going to Dominican Republic with my church for short term but don't have raise like $3000, but only $850.  Any bit counts.  But prayer always counts more.
